Because Texas Windstorm Insurance is generally not included in a typical Texas commercial insurance property CMP or BOP  if your business is located in one of the 14 coastal counties including certain areas of Harris County, Texas commercial insurance property coverage must be obtained through Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA). 

A Texas Insurance company may include flood insurance in a Texas commercial insurance property policy if the property is not located in an area considered a high risk for flooding.
